Responsibilities
- Develop and document comprehensive test plans for hardware components
- Perform functional, environmental, and reliability tests on robotic subsystems
- Investigate test failures and perform root cause analysis
- Validate first-article components and prototype builds
- Maintain communication logs and document findings
- Record detailed test data and communicate results
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in testing procedures
Job Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in hardware test engineering or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with sensors, motors, and control systems
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment and diagnostics
- Familiarity with basic scripting languages for data collection
- Strong communication skills for documentation and presentation
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple test campaigns
