Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom electronics (analog, digital, mixed-signal) for precision instrumentation and sensor systems.
- Own schematic capture and PCB design, including BOM creation and design reviews.
- Perform component selection and trade studies regarding cost, risk, and reliability.
- Lead board bring-up and debugging processes.
- Develop test strategies and write test procedures for functionality and reliability verification.
- Collaborate with systems, optics/laser, firmware/software, and manufacturing teams.
- Support transition to production, including documentation and resolving manufacturing issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and debugging electronics.
- Strong fundamentals in circuit analysis and electronics.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium preferred).
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMMs.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred experience in precision analog design and embedded hardware interfaces.
