Responsibilities

  • Support the design, assembly, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for R&D and pilot-scale chemical processing equipment.
  • Assist in the development of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD software.
  • Help specify components and electrical hardware based on system requirements.
  • Conduct hands-on wiring, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and control panels.
  • Support safety reviews and ensure electrical designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with process and mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems into fully functional units.
  • Participate in testing of sensors, instrumentation, and control systems for real-time process monitoring.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or R&D environment.
  • Familiarity with low-voltage power systems, sensors, and motor control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, wiring, or panel building is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar).
  • Understanding of industrial safety and compliance standards (NEC, UL, etc.).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to get hands-on with real hardware.
