Responsibilities
- Support the design, assembly, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for R&D and pilot-scale chemical processing equipment.
- Assist in the development of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD software.
- Help specify components and electrical hardware based on system requirements.
- Conduct hands-on wiring, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and control panels.
- Support safety reviews and ensure electrical designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with process and mechanical engineers to integrate electrical systems.
- Maintain documentation of all electrical work including schematics and system settings.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or R&D environment.
- Familiarity with low-voltage power systems and motor control systems.
- Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, wiring, or panel building.
- Proficiency with electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to work with real hardware.
- Ability to split time effectively between two physical locations.
