Responsibilities
- Identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements
- Designing and developing prototypes
- Analyzing and testing prototypes and revisions of devices
- Collaborating with Project Managers for resource allocation and project requirements
- Supervising CAD project drawings from junior team members
- Managing all phases of projects and leading testing and quality assurance
- Presenting designs to managers and clients
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in mechanical design
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Expertise in CAD design tools, particularly SolidWorks
- General knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing techniques
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
