Responsibilities

  • Execute hands-on nanofabrication processes including lithography, thin-film deposition, and etch processes.
  • Support lithography processes such as spin coating, baking, and mask alignment.
  • Operate thin-film deposition processes like sputtering and evaporation.
  • Assist with etch processes including wet and plasma etching.
  • Prepare substrates and maintain detailed experimental records.
  • Perform basic characterization using techniques like SEM and optical microscopy.
  • Collaborate with senior scientists and engineers to troubleshoot and iterate on processes.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in relevant fields (e.g., electrical engineering, materials science).
  • Hands-on experience in a cleanroom or semiconductor lab environment.
  • Practical exposure to lithography, deposition, and etch processes.
  • Experience with silicon-based microelectronic or photonic devices.
  • Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in shared research facilities.
  • Interest in experimental science, nanofabrication, and AI-driven discovery.
