Responsibilities
- Execute hands-on nanofabrication processes including lithography, thin-film deposition, and etch processes.
- Support lithography processes such as spin coating, baking, and mask alignment.
- Operate thin-film deposition processes like sputtering and evaporation.
- Assist with etch processes including wet and plasma etching.
- Prepare substrates and maintain detailed experimental records.
- Perform basic characterization using techniques like SEM and optical microscopy.
- Collaborate with senior scientists and engineers to troubleshoot and iterate on processes.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in relevant fields (e.g., electrical engineering, materials science).
- Hands-on experience in a cleanroom or semiconductor lab environment.
- Practical exposure to lithography, deposition, and etch processes.
- Experience with silicon-based microelectronic or photonic devices.
- Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in shared research facilities.
- Interest in experimental science, nanofabrication, and AI-driven discovery.
