Responsibilities
- Execute nanofabrication processes for microelectronic, photonic, MEMS, or optical devices.
- Support lithography processes, including spin coating, mask alignment, and exposure.
- Operate thin-film deposition processes like sputtering and evaporation.
- Assist with etch processes such as wet etching and plasma etching.
- Prepare substrates and maintain detailed experimental records.
- Perform characterization using techniques like SEM and optical microscopy.
- Collaborate with teams to connect fabrication results with model predictions.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in electrical engineering, materials science, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in a cleanroom or semiconductor lab.
- Practical exposure to lithography, deposition, and etch processes.
- Experience with silicon-based devices.
- Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in shared research facilities.
- Interest in experimental science, nanofabrication, and AI-driven discovery.
