Responsibilities
- Take independent ownership of subsystem reliability for current and future products focusing on HV electronics and power conversion.
- Develop reliability test programs by leading DFMEA and analyzing test acceleration.
- Build and contribute to custom Python reliability analysis tools for life prediction and reporting.
- Define reliability requirements and communicate risks to engineering leadership.
- Develop physics-of-failure lifetime models and perform failure root cause analysis.
- Oversee outsourced testing and define qualification requirements with suppliers.
- Collaborate with teams to embed design for reliability principles into engineering decisions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, reliability engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware reliability engineering in power electronics or high-voltage systems.
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and statistical analysis.
- Experience leading product reliability through multiple stages of development.
- Proficiency in Python for statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Critical thinking and decisiveness in a fast-paced environment.
