Responsibilities
- Take independent DfR ownership for existing subsystem reliability and lead DfR for future products.
- Develop reliability test programs (DV, PV, ORT) and lead DFMEA efforts.
- Create custom Python tools for reliability analysis and automate workflows.
- Define reliability requirements and communicate risks to engineering leadership.
- Develop physics-of-failure lifetime models and conduct root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with suppliers to verify component quality and define testing requirements.
- Embed DfR principles into engineering decisions across the product lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware reliability engineering, particularly in power electronics.
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and statistical analysis.
- Proven ability to independently lead product reliability through development stages.
- Proficiency in Python for statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to think critically and act decisively in a fast-paced environment.
