Responsibilities
- Maintain a fleet-wide blade inspection and repair database.
- Administer blade inspection requirements and support scheduling of inspections.
- Track and report inspection completion and coordinate vendor activities.
- Maintain and manage a database of all blade damages.
- Coordinate and track blade repair schedules with operations personnel.
- Provide regular reporting of fleetwide blade repair status.
- Support initiatives for innovative technology on blade inspections and repairs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, civil, or chemical engineering, or 2-5 years of experience in wind turbine blade inspections and repairs.
- Ability to plan and support multiple field projects.
- Technical understanding of composite materials and blade repair techniques.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality assurance in field operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data tracking/reporting systems.
- Ability to climb wind turbines and perform physical requirements related to inspections.
