Responsibilities
- Maintain a fleet-wide blade inspection and repair database.
- Administer blade inspection requirements and support scheduling of inspections.
- Track and report inspection completion and coordinate with vendors for timely inspections.
- Manage database of blade damages and prioritize repairs based on severity.
- Coordinate and track blade repair schedules with operations personnel.
- Perform audits of inspection and repair reports to ensure quality.
- Support innovative technology initiatives for blade inspections and repairs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, civil, or chemical engineering or 2-5 years of experience in wind turbine blade inspections and repairs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Subject matter expertise in blade-related issues.
- Strong technical capabilities and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Ability to climb wind turbines and work in challenging environments.
- Understanding of composite materials and blade repair techniques.
