Responsibilities
- Lead technical efforts and define engineering plans for valve and control manufacturing.
- Develop project plans and allocate resources based on technical proposals.
- Manage deployment of resources among engineering teams and act as Control Account Manager for projects.
- Serve as a technical liaison with program management and customer representatives.
- Ensure implementation of process improvement and design standardization objectives.
- Oversee budget planning and cost management for engineering systems and staffing.
- Mentor team members and create technical training and development plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
- 10-12 years of related experience, with 4+ years in a management/supervisory role.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly desired.
- Proficient in project management and engineering analysis tools.
- Ability to lead research projects and make cost trade-off decisions.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for varied audiences.
- Knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and internal policies.
