Responsibilities
- Assist with simple tool design and writing process instructions.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving for engineering challenges.
- Engage in process improvements within the manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers on project work.
- Work on the design and production of parts for customers.
- Optimize various engineering processes.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
Job Requirements
- Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in a mechanical or materials science engineering program.
- Prior mechanical or shop experience preferred.
- Experience from a prior shop internship at Exotic Metals is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Willingness to be involved in diverse aspects of engineering projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- CAD training may be available.
