Responsibilities
- Assist in simple tool design and writing process instructions.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving for engineering challenges.
- Engage in process improvements within the engineering team.
- Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
- Work on design and production of parts for customers.
- Optimize various engineering processes.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers on project work.
Job Requirements
- Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in a mechanical or material science engineering program.
- Preference for candidates with prior mechanical or shop experience.
- Experience in a shop internship at Exotic Metals is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
- Interest in working on challenging projects in aerospace engineering.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a collaborative setting.
- CAD training may be available.
