Responsibilities
- Assist with simple tool design and writing process instructions.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving for engineering processes.
- Participate in process improvements and optimization of engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers on design and production of parts for customers.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Engage in various aspects of challenging projects on the production floor.
- Gain CAD training and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements
- Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in a mechanical or material science engineering program.
- Preference for candidates with prior mechanical or shop experience.
- Previous internship experience at Exotic Metals is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Interest in engineering challenges and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to learn and engage in diverse engineering tasks.
