Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of mechanical system design, modeling, and documentation.
- Provide task-based support for engineering distribution, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy modeling.
- Assist with construction administration and perform mechanical calculations and performance simulations.
- Design the layout of mechanical systems and read plans effectively.
- Complete assigned work under the guidance of project team members.
- Develop proficiency in design/drafting tools like Revit and AutoCAD.
- Maintain organization, clear communication, and attention to detail in all tasks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering relevant to the position.
- Ability to obtain Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification.
- Preferred internship experience in a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn software like TRACE and IES.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
