Responsibilities
- Support the design of deployable structures, mechanisms, and aerospace hardware.
- Design and contribute to fabrication of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for testing and integration.
- Create CAD models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
- Participate in prototype fabrication, assembly, and test campaigns.
- Assist in developing manufacturing processes, fixtures, and assembly methods for production ramp-up.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on active contracts.
- Demonstrate initiative in tackling complex, hands-on challenges.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
- Strong foundation in mechanics, materials, and design principles.
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks).
- Hands-on mindset with experience in prototyping, testing, and iteration.
- Interest in manufacturing engineering and process development.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
