Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of strategic roadmaps through prototyping and testing of mechanical solutions.
- Perform reliability testing and lifecycle analysis on mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical subsystems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including CAD files and system diagrams.
- Collaborate with platform leads on component obsolescence risks and solutions.
- Contribute to the development of mechanical engineering standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers for production rollouts of new components.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a hands-on mechanical engineering role.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical challenges in subsystem designs.
- Knowledge of design-for-manufacturing and lifecycle management.
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing technical documentation.
- Preferred: Advanced Degree in engineering or relevant expertise.
