Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms and methods for robotic manipulation and loco-manipulation.
- Integrate methods into real-world robotic systems including collaborative and industrial robots.
- Co-lead and contribute to multi-person research projects.
- Engage with the academic community through publications and conferences.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to apply research to products.
- Mentor interns and junior research scientists.
Job Requirements
- PhD in Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of research experience post-PhD, with 5+ years preferred.
- Deep knowledge of robotics and AI theory and practice.
- Proven research excellence with publications in top conferences and journals.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with C++, CUDA, and Warp is a plus.
- Experience with robotics frameworks and simulation tools.
