Responsibilities
- Contribute to product design individually or by leading teams of internal contributors and outside suppliers.
- Prepare early design concepts and product architecture.
- Drive design aspects of mechanical systems including structures, displays, and thermal systems.
- Research innovative technologies, materials, and processes.
- Collaborate with Industrial Design to create groundbreaking products.
- Utilize 3D CAD tools for design work.
- Lead resources including consultants and manufacturing partners.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in product and mechanical design.
- Proficiency in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Excellent experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo, Solidworks).
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of finite element analysis.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in manufacturing processes such as casting and plastics.
