Responsibilities
- Perform static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structures.
- Ensure designs meet program requirements and are optimized for cost and quality.
- Derive non-flight applied loads and perform weight and stiffness optimization using software tools.
- Collaborate in a team environment and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Work with tools such as FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter.
- Maintain compliance with government clearance requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with relevant experience or a Master's degree with a background in aerospace structural analysis.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience for Structural Engineer level or 5 years for Principal Structural Engineer level.
- Ability to obtain and maintain government Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience in airframe, crew systems, and structural integrity.
- Active DoD Secret clearance is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
