Responsibilities
- Perform structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structures and mechanical systems.
- Ensure designs meet program requirements, focusing on cost and quality.
- Derive non-flight applied loads and perform weight and stiffness optimization.
- Collaborate in a team environment to prioritize tasks and solve complex problems.
- Utilize tools such as FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter for analysis.
- Adjust tasks to meet project results and deadlines.
- Maintain government clearance and program access as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 3) of aerospace structural analysis experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance.
- Experience in structural analysis of airframes, crew systems, and subsystems is preferred.
- Active DoD Secret clearance is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with automated analysis methods and software applications.
