Responsibilities

  • Lead engine performance and cycle analysis.
  • Manage subsonic and supersonic inlet and exhaust design and integration.
  • Perform project planning and develop execution plans.
  • Interface with external engine suppliers and manage their activities.
  • Assist internal and external customers in defining system requirements and providing program status.
  • Develop and present program-related briefing materials.
  • Conduct technical peer reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, or a Master's with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
  • Knowledge and experience in Air Breathing Propulsion for aircraft or missile systems.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.
  • Experience with Aeronautical Air Breathing Propulsion and Flight Sciences disciplines.
  • Leadership experience in guiding junior engineers.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering Principles and MBSE tools.
