Responsibilities
- Lead engine performance and cycle analysis.
- Manage subsonic and supersonic inlet and exhaust design and integration.
- Perform project planning and develop execution plans.
- Interface with external engine suppliers and manage their activities.
- Assist internal and external customers in defining system requirements and providing program status.
- Develop and present program-related briefing materials.
- Conduct technical peer reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, or a Master's with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
- Knowledge and experience in Air Breathing Propulsion for aircraft or missile systems.
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time.
- Experience with Aeronautical Air Breathing Propulsion and Flight Sciences disciplines.
- Leadership experience in guiding junior engineers.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering Principles and MBSE tools.
