Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Product Definition Packages (PDPs) for instrumentation and data systems.
- Install mechanical PDPs including sensors and support brackets.
- Oversee equipment installations of system architectural elements.
- Execute design across multiple projects in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical support for PDP releases.
- Employ GD&T and Model Based Engineering methods for engineering definitions.
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and manage configuration changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a STEM discipline with relevant engineering experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret government clearance.
- Experience in designing aircraft equipment installations or instrumentation systems.
- Familiarity with harness components and EMI shielding practices.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and electrical design software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under minimal direction.
