Responsibilities
- Act as Responsible Engineer across multiple vendors for supplier developed installations.
- Perform source selection for major components.
- Define high-level performance requirements and lower-level component requirements.
- Evaluate and verify requirements to meet airworthiness criteria.
- Define design and test requirements for suppliers.
- Attend and present at technical exchange meetings and program milestone reviews.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related STEM discipline.
- Relevant experience (5 years for Principal, 8 years for Sr. Principal).
- Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
- Experience in Supplier Management Team (SMT).
- Preferred degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience with aircraft crew and equipment subsystems design.
- Familiarity with software tools like NX and/or CPLM.
