Responsibilities
- Mechanical design of test, measurement, and handling equipment for military aircraft.
- Gathering data and developing requirements for the project.
- Acting as a manufacturing liaison during the build process.
- Development of test plans and conducting environmental testing of Support Equipment.
- Testing and integrating manufactured Support Equipment on aircraft.
- Utilizing CAD software for creating detailed engineering drawings.
- Collaborating in a fast-paced environment and occasionally traveling for demonstrations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience in mechanical/electro-mechanical design.
- Experience with CAD software for engineering drawings.
- Current DoD Secret clearance or higher.
- Ability to obtain necessary program access within a reasonable timeframe.
- Preferred experience with FEA software for stress analysis and FAA A&P Certificate or equivalent aircraft maintenance background.
- Knowledge of GD&T standards for manufacturing drawings.
- Strong motivation and proactive attitude towards project goals.
