Responsibilities
- Develop aircraft electrical wiring designs including selection of conductors and components.
- Design wiring diagrams and harness definitions using electrical CAD tools.
- Ensure familiarity with EMI shielding and separation requirements.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplined Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Support troubleshooting during manufacturing and test execution.
- Work independently under general supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain and transfer government Secret clearance as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years, or a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience.
- Experience in Instrumentation is required.
- Ability to maintain government Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with electrical CAD tools like Capital Harness or AutoCAD Electrical is preferred.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with changing expectations.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred for the Senior Principal level.
