Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen customer relationships to identify growth opportunities.
- Drive capture planning, proposal development, and long-term strategy.
- Negotiate contracts, contract changes, budgets, and schedules.
- Oversee internally funded Bid and Proposal and IR&D budget and project execution.
- Direct cross-functional IPTs to achieve performance goals.
- Measure and report on program performance to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure adherence to all contracts, policies, and industry standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of program management experience OR a Master’s degree and 8 years of program management experience.
- Experience in the execution of high-value DoD contract proposals and negotiation.
- Experience leading high performing, cross-functional teams within the aerospace/defense sector.
- Proficiency in project management tools and processes such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
- Active US Government DoD Secret security clearance with ability to get cleared for SAP.
- Preferred: STEM or business degree; PMP® certification.
- 5–10 years of direct production management experience.
