Responsibilities
- Develop aircraft electrical wiring designs, including selection of components.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SAE AS 50881 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
- Utilize ECAD software tools for designing electrical wiring interconnection systems.
- Collaborate with harness fabrication shops.
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to aircraft subsystems.
- Participate in multiple aspects of aircraft subsystem development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2 years of related electrical engineering experience (or 5 years for Principal level).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret government clearance.
- Familiarity with EMI shielding and separation requirements.
- Experience with military aircraft subsystem development is preferred.
- Knowledge of ECAD software tools such as Siemens Capital Harness or Zuken.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
