Responsibilities
- Manage a team of engineers and oversee processes, tools, and technology.
- Provide technical oversight for Air Breathing Propulsion across the sector.
- Conduct independent reviews of major programs and support proposals.
- Offer guidance on propulsion engine cycle, inlet, and exhaust analysis.
- Coordinate staffing processes and conduct interviews for team growth.
- Establish design manuals and common tools for engineering programs.
- Promote improvement initiatives and share best practices among teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of experience in Aircraft Design & Analysis or 7 years with a Master's degree.
- Experience in Air Breathing Propulsion for various aircraft types.
- Leadership experience in an engineering team setting.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks.
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
- Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required.
- Preferred expertise in Hybrid Electric Propulsion and Flight Sciences engineering disciplines.
