Responsibilities
- Developing aircraft electrical wiring designs, including selection of conductors and components.
- Ensuring compliance with SAE AS 50881 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Designing electrical wiring interconnection systems using ECAD software tools.
- Collaborating with harness fabrication shops.
- Working independently under supervision and in team settings.
- Managing diverse assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Troubleshooting issues related to electrical designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM from an accredited university.
- 2 years of related electrical engineering experience (or 5 years for Principal Engineer).
- Experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with EMI shielding and separation requirements.
- Experience with military aircraft subsystem development is a plus.
- Proficiency in ECAD software tools like Siemens Capital Harness or Zuken.
