Responsibilities
- Develop aircraft electrical wiring designs, selecting conductors and electro-mechanical components.
- Ensure compliance with SAE AS 50881 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
- Design electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS) using ECAD software tools.
- Collaborate with harness fabrication shops.
- Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Manage diverse assignments in a fast-paced work environment.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 2 years of related electrical engineering experience (for Electrical Engineer level).
- 5 years of experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems (for Principal Electrical Engineer level).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with military aircraft subsystem development is preferred.
- Experience with ECAD software tools such as Siemens Capital Harness or equivalent.
- Knowledge of EMI shielding and separation requirements.
