Responsibilities
- Design and integrate crew systems and cockpit elements, including escape systems and furnishings.
- Develop mockups and simulators for design validation.
- Conduct trade studies and make recommendations based on findings.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities in design processes.
- Use NX and Teamcenter tools for design tasks and ensure manufacturability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce robust design configurations.
- Adapt to changes in aircraft configuration and thrive in an aircraft development environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with relevant engineering experience.
- Experience in aircraft crew/cockpit design and hardware integration.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software applications.
- Ability to obtain a government Secret clearance.
- Preferred Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Familiarity with military airworthiness certification processes and design considerations.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
