Responsibilities
- Scope, create conceptual designs, and produce final designs for various project types.
- Create high-quality BIM (REVIT) models and engineering drawings for mechanical systems.
- Design HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and process utility systems that are code-compliant.
- Build full construction drawing packages including details and specifications.
- Produce BAS and DDC controls documents and vendor quotes.
- Develop specifications and procurement RFPs for mechanical and plumbing equipment.
- Interface with the construction team for constructability reviews and respond to contractor-generated RFIs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering industry experience.
- Professional Engineering License (Texas and/or California).
- Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT MEP.
- Experience designing cleanrooms.
- Preferred experience in designing offices, laboratories, and manufacturing facilities.
- Working knowledge of industry software such as Microsoft products and COMcheck.
