Responsibilities
- Design and verify custom electronics systems for surgical robotics.
- Oversee the transition of designs to production.
- Own creative decisions on impactful projects like actuator designs and telemetry systems.
- Integrate microcontrollers, FPGAs, or SoMs into mixed signal PCBAs.
- Write basic test firmware for design bring-up.
- Ensure designs meet standards for EMC, ESD, and thermals.
- Collaborate with the team on hardware design for consumables and surgical equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with circuit board designs from architecture to production.
- At least one deployed design experience.
- Knowledge of interfaces like UART, I2C, SPI, and camera interfaces.
- Practical electronics design knowledge.
- Portfolio showcasing hardware designs is preferred.
- Competency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Rust.
