Responsibilities
- Design and verify custom electronics systems.
- Oversee the transition of designs to production.
- Work on robotics stage designs, motor drives, and controls.
- Develop custom camera designs and manufacturing automation solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and performance standards in electronics design.
- Collaborate with the Surgery & Robotics Hardware Team to integrate systems.
- Conduct full lifecycle testing for devices designed for human surgeries.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Professional experience in electronics design phases (requirements to testing).
- Depth in power electronics, FPGA hardware design, or manufacturing automation.
- Knowledge of designing for EMC, ESD, thermals, and packaging.
- A portfolio of hardware designs is preferred.
- Experience with safety-critical systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Rust is preferred.
