Responsibilities
- Own all aspects of hardware design to optimize for performance, manufacturability, and cost.
- Gather requirements and translate them into engineering architectures and decisions.
- Perform detailed design trades using 3D modeling software and engineering principles.
- Participate in and lead design reviews.
- Create high-quality engineering drawings.
- Root cause hardware failures and manufacturing issues.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams on production tooling and vendor selection.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environments.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks or NX.
- Nice to have: experience with UAVs, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and hands-on fabrication skills.
