Responsibilities
- Own all aspects of hardware design to optimize for performance, manufacturability, and cost.
- Perform detailed design trades using 3D modeling software, FEA tools, and engineering first principles.
- Design, develop, and implement production tooling and equipment.
- Develop and refine process documentation including build instructions and test procedures.
- Participate in design reviews to drive design for manufacturing (DFM).
- Create and maintain detailed production plans and schedules.
- Analyze and resolve manufacturing issues and non-conformances.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environments.
- Ability to solve engineering problems through first principles thinking.
- Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks or NX.
- Experience developing and improving tooling for manufacturing/production lines.
- Oversaw introduction and implementation of new products and manufacturing capabilities.
