Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and tune flight control algorithms for autonomous features.
- Integrate control laws with state estimation, sensor fusion, and computer vision stacks.
- Test and validate algorithms in simulation and live flight.
- Collaborate with autonomy, perception, and embedded software teams.
- Own critical control primitives for advanced autonomy.
- Validate control algorithms in both simulation and hardware flight tests.
- Ensure robust real-time performance of control systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in controls engineering for robotics or drones.
- Strong background in classical and modern control theory.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for algorithm development.
- Hands-on experience with autopilot frameworks like PX4 or ArduPilot.
- Experience with sensor fusion and state estimation techniques.
- Solid understanding of embedded real-time systems and safety considerations.
