The Electrical Engineering Intern will work on electronics for spacecraft, involving project ownership from design to testing in a collaborative startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of or contribute to hardware or firmware design for spacecraft or payload development
- Initiate or assist in test campaigns and/or design and improve test setups
- Conduct analysis to support both development and testing phases
- Engage in testing and measurement activities in the lab, either on the bench or within a clean room environment
- Collaborate with experienced aerospace professionals
- Learn from mentorship opportunities
- Contribute to real impact on programs at Muon Space
Job Requirements
- Familiarity with Altium, KiCAD or other schematic capture and layout software
- Experience with Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, and DMMs
- Prior experience designing, testing, and debugging PCBAs
- Basic programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python
- Previous internship or co-op experience
- Experience on technical project teams (e.g., Rocket club, formula SAE)
- Ability to solder/reflow PCBAs and use hand tools
