Responsibilities
- PE in California required.
- Designs solar PV systems, battery storage systems, off-grid microgrid, and EVCS.
- Develops full construction drawing sets and engineering specifications.
- Creates single-line and three-line diagrams in compliance with industry standards.
- Reviews interconnection standards and prepares application packages.
- Manages system studies for protective device coordination and electrical explorations.
- Ensures compliance with safety standards and practices.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in distribution, utility, and DER interconnection.
- Experience in SKM or ETAP is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of PV system components and balance of systems.
- Ability to develop detailed equipment specifications and bill of materials.
- Strong skills in design and compliance with electrical codes.
- Experience with site assessments and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for persuasive documentation.
