Responsibilities
- Lead a team of mechanical engineers in the development of test equipment.
- Supervise and mentor engineers to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Test Equipment Site Manager(s) for project assignments.
- Ensure process compliance and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews and participate in workforce planning and hiring.
- Serve as a direct contributor to projects at 50-75% capacity.
- Develop mechanical and hydraulic test systems and perform structural analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and a minimum of 6 years of mechanical engineering experience.
- Experience with engineering drawings, schematics, and technical reports.
- Strong team management and leadership experience.
- International travel (5-10%) required.
- Proficiency in CAD (NX) and PLM Systems (Teamcenter).
- Experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing preferred.
- Familiarity with closed loop control systems and modeling tools like Ansys.
