Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to the engineering team by inspiring them and aligning around organizational goals.
- Manage the mechanical engineering team by planning, delegating, and training, monitoring and reviewing their work.
- Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles and quality standards.
- Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
- Plan and execute mechanical engineering activities collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Support change management of new methods and techniques for departmental and organizational changes.
- Mentor and develop employees, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of design experience.
- Experience with electro-mechanical motion control and structural analysis in a regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, motivate, and develop teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Strong project and organizational skills.
