Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and align the engineering team with organizational goals.
- Manage the mechanical engineering team through planning, delegating, and reviewing work.
- Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles and standards.
- Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
- Plan and execute mechanical engineering activities collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing feedback and encouraging growth.
- Support change management for new methods and procedures within the department.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 10 years of design experience.
- 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with electro-mechanical motion control and structural analysis.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
