Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance BMDS elements to address evolving threats.
- Perform system and component engineering, algorithm development, and advanced technology prototyping.
- Conduct validation of system performance through testing and analysis.
- Work on simulation, modeling, and algorithm development related to missile defense.
- Collaborate with a team of mathematicians, scientists, and engineers.
- Apply knowledge of data science, AI/ML, and autonomous systems to national security applications.
- Present findings and reports clearly and effectively.
Job Requirements
- MS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields; or BS with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
- Experience with high-performance computing is desired.
- Strong oral presentation and written reporting skills.
- Proven self-motivation and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
- Enthusiasm for applying AI/ML knowledge to missile defense.
