Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for Mechanical Development Engineering projects.
- Ensure successful design of projects within budget and delivery expectations.
- Lead team meetings to drive project progress and identify risks.
- Facilitate and enforce the design process, including documentation and reviews.
- Support design projects from conceptualization to finalization.
- Collaborate with suppliers and Key Accounts Managers to address customer needs.
- Mentor and review designs by Mechanical Engineers.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of experience or 9 years of relevant experience.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. and have a valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to work hands-on and independently, as well as part of a team.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of industry-accepted engineering practices is preferred.
