Responsibilities
- Apply working knowledge of Mikron products and engineering standards to support design and development.
- Independently design and integrate automation components, systems, or software.
- Execute and support system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging activities.
- Participate in internal and customer-facing meetings, providing technical input.
- Use engineering tools and systems (e.g., CAD, PDM, PLC/HMI software) for design and documentation.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation in accordance with project standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and engineering standards.
Job Requirements
- BS in Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of professional experience in automation and controls preferred.
- Proficient in Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming.
- Proficient with industrial control systems and architectures.
- Proficient with electrical hardware and schematics for industrial machinery.
- Proficient in servo and VFD configuration and tuning.
- Familiar with object-oriented programming (e.g., C#) and scripting tools.
