Responsibilities
- Partner with the Product Design Engineering team to define and execute next-generation hardware products.
- Coordinate and drive engineering design deliverables, including specifications, DOEs, and validation plans.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop best practices and technology development processes.
- Manage delivery of hardware components and drive qualification for mass production timelines.
- Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on system requirements.
- Manage program structure for clarity and efficiency among program teams.
- Communicate program statuses and manage internal and external partner communications.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 4+ years of experience as a technology development program manager or engineering lead in consumer electronics.
- Experience in ODM, JDM, and CM vendor engagement models.
- Knowledge of phase gate approach to technology development programs.
- Experience with mechanical system development and design for manufacturing (DFM).
- Demonstrated organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in times of ambiguity and direction changes.
