Responsibilities
- Lead the development of camera, depth, and sensor assemblies for VR HMD systems.
- Manage projects with suppliers and partners, ensuring deliverables are met.
- Evaluate suppliers to meet product requirements and establish supply chain strategies.
- Operate at various levels of planning and project management.
- Breakdown complex technical programs for team understanding.
- Identify and address technical, legal, and logistical issues proactively.
- Act as the main communication channel for key discussions and decisions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Optics, Physics, Materials science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a technical program manager or in a related role.
- Familiarity with Agile and Phase-gate methodologies.
- Experience leading partnerships with Asia-based vendors.
- Strong communication and document presentation skills.
- Preferred experience in optical systems or consumer camera systems development.
- Preferred experience working with external partners in camera technologies.
