Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain low-level validation firmware in C/C++ for custom ASICs.
- Lead pre-silicon and post-silicon validation by executing firmware-driven test plans.
- Debug complex SoC interfaces on emulation platforms and physical silicon.
- Build and maintain firmware infrastructure for validation workflows.
- Collaborate with design teams to identify and root-cause silicon bugs.
- Drive firmware validation methodology improvements.
- Develop automated tests for continuous validation across environments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field.
- 6+ years of experience in developing validation firmware for custom ASICs.
- 3+ years of experience with pre-silicon and post-silicon debug.
- Experience with EDA tools and scripting for emulation environments.
- Experience developing hardware abstraction layers and low-level drivers.
- Familiarity with hardware-software co-design workflows.
- Experience with SoC architecture and integration of AI tools.
