Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop sensor solutions for battery-operated products.
- Lead integration of new sensor modalities into high-volume consumer products from prototyping to mass production.
- Utilize analog, circuit design, and optoelectronics fundamentals for building and validating prototypes.
- Design schematics and supervise board/Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) layouts while participating in design reviews.
- Optimize sensor architecture and component selection for sensing systems.
- Work with Contract Manufacturer/Joint Development Manufacturer resources to enhance product differentiation.
- Conduct lab measurements and factory tests to validate designs and resolve issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field with 6+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in consumer electronics or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience in embedded/mobile system design and sensing technologies.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and cross-functional groups.
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and functional verification.
- Experience integrating sensing technologies such as optical and capacitive touch sensors.
- Proficiency with data collection and analysis tools like JMP, Python, LabView, and MATLAB.
