Responsibilities
- Build partnerships to define hardware design requirements and specifications.
- Lead hardware architecture reviews to identify gaps in technical design.
- Perform mechanical and electrical design for robotics applications.
- Lead proof-of-concept developments and conduct thorough analysis and testing.
- Collaborate with software engineers for hardware-software integration.
- Lead DFx efforts and contribute to hardware assembly processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in hardware lifecycle management.
- Expert understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and simulation.
- Experience with hands-on rapid prototyping and manufacturing processes.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with end-to-end hardware development life cycle and agile processes.
