Responsibilities
- Plan and execute cutting-edge research on textile-based actuation systems.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to prototype hardware and actuation controls.

Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Textile Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a relevant field.
- Knowledge of textile-based actuation technologies.
- Experience with prototyping textile-based actuators.
- Familiarity with mechanical characterization techniques for actuators.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment.
- Preferred: familiarity with soft robotics and expertise in 3D knitting and actuation control methods.
- Intent to return to degree program after the internship.
