Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and characterize novel wearable tactile sensors.
- Research and develop next-generation soft wearable sensing technologies.
- Collaborate with the Reality Labs team to address challenges in soft wearables.
- Emphasize scientific and engineering questions related to soft wearable technologies.
- Use experimental data to enhance tactile sensor designs.
- Communicate research activities and findings to interdisciplinary collaborators.

Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or holding a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, Robotics, or a relevant field.
- 2+ years of experience with hardware prototyping and soft wearable technologies.
- Hands-on experience in soft transducers design, manufacturing, and characterization.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment.
- Preferred experience includes internships, work experience, or contributions to open-source projects.
- Proven track record of significant results through grants, fellowships, or publications.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a team environment.
