Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Audio and Acoustic Engineers to develop numerical models for sensor and transducer performance.
- Conduct lab validation tests and analyze data to validate numerical models.
- Correlate models with measurements.
- Apply acoustic simulation techniques and numerical modeling tools.
- Utilize data acquisition tools for performance analysis.
- Engage in high performance computing for complex model solving.
- Assist in the development of electro-mechano-acoustic systems design.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or has a PhD in engineering (audio, acoustics, physics, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or related field).
- Experience in acoustic simulation and 3D numerical modeling.
- Proficiency in commercial numerical modeling tools (COMSOL, ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Familiarity with data acquisition tools (Audio Precision, SoundCheck, MATLAB/Simulink, Python).
- Understanding of computational fluid dynamics and aeroacoustic modeling.
- Knowledge of MEMS microphone acoustic performance.
- Intent to return to degree program after internship.
