Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical and electrical systems for robotics, focusing on ergonomics and performance.
- Support parts manufacturing by collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Assemble robots, including hands-on work in the lab.
- Conduct failure analysis through testing and data measurement.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver technical solutions.
- Analyze design assumptions and refine them based on test results.
- Engage in initial concept development and prototype design.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical Design Engineering.
- BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with electromechanical assemblies and CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS.
- Familiarity with prototyping processes and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of tolerance analysis and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Preferred experience with finite element analysis and manufacturing processes.
- Background in Robotics and consumer electronic product design.
