Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical and electrical systems for robotics.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners for part fabrication and assembly.
- Construct sub-assemblies and full system level robot prototypes in the lab.
- Conduct failure analysis through testing, measurement, and design refinement.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver technical solutions.
- Utilize CAD tools for design and prototyping processes.
- Integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive improvements.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical Design Engineering.
- BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with electromechanical assemblies and CAD tools.
- Familiarity with prototyping processes and materials.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and communication protocols.
- Experience in tolerance analysis and GD&T.
- Preferred experience in robotics, automation, and AI technologies.
