Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize the eyepiece for smart glasses and AR glasses.
- Connect system PD and conduct fit studies for system-level integration.
- Maintain detailed design documentation, including CAD models and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for performance analysis of the display system.
- Conduct design and DFM reviews, ensuring compliance with optical and mechanical requirements.
- Drive FMEA, failure analysis, and gauge R&R activities for product scalability.
- Apply engineering expertise to improve design and solve technical problems with vendors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Optical Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in opto-mechanical system design and analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks, Creo).
- Knowledge of GD&T standards and design for manufacturability.
- Experience with optical principles and testing tools (Zemax, CodeV).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
