Responsibilities
- Support NPI Build readiness and collaborate with cross-functional teams on material management.
- Assess sourcing opportunities with Contract Manufacturers and drive procurement processes.
- Partner with Hardware Engineering to develop configuration plans for manufacturing.
- Track NPI material spend and mitigate excess and obsolete (E&O) materials.
- Conduct regular reviews to address material shortages with various teams.
- Manage execution with external partners and handle urgent supply chain issues.
- Oversee the transition from engineering to volume production, coordinating product release timelines.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in material management, supply chain, or purchasing in a hardware context.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Engineering component Matrices for qualification processes.
- Experience with high-volume consumer electronics product launches.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Skills in data modeling and system efficiency improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
